Mandatory in Spain from 5 October 2026

The control document
that never lets you down.

Offline. Encrypted. Ready for the Guardia Civil in one tap. DeCMR turns the new legal duty into the simplest thing in your day.

Tell us who you are

Every role, its own route.

The law is the same for everyone; the way you comply with it is not. Pick your case and we take you straight to it.

Encrypted in transit and at rest (KMS) Architecture aligned with the ENS (Spain's national security framework) No GPS tracking Works with no signal

The countdown has already started

Paper stops counting.
The network is not always there.

From 5 October 2026 the paper control document loses its legal validity in Spain — on every journey you load or unload here. If your digital document does not come up at the check, the vehicle can be immobilised.

5 Oct
The date the paper control document stops being valid in Spain.
401–600 €
Fine for a serious offence of missing documentation. And the lorry, stopped on the hard shoulder.
365 days
Suspension of the transport licence if good repute is lost.

How it works

Three things, and none of them catches you out on the hard shoulder.

The DeCMR app showing the driver's list of control documents
  1. No signal. No problem.

The QR code and the PDF live inside the phone. On a mountain pass or in an underground loading bay, the document comes up all the same. Nothing to download at the worst possible moment.

  2. Roadside mode. Screen at 100%.

One huge button lights up the screen, blocks the back gesture and shows the QR code ready for the officer's scanner. Zero friction, zero mistakes on the hard shoulder.

  3. Your privacy is not for sale.

No GPS tracking, no tracking cookies, no advertising. The PDFs are generated on the device itself. The document is identified by a UUID that cannot be enumerated.

Why DeCMR

Security, reliability and trust.
In that order.

Security

Encryption at rest with our own key (AWS KMS), eIDAS advanced electronic signatures and an architecture aligned with the Esquema Nacional de Seguridad (Spain's national security framework). Your data, locked down.

Reliability

Offline-first for real: the document opens instantly with no connection. A payment failure never breaks Roadside mode — a bounced payment must not earn you a fine.

Trust

Thorough legal compliance: Ley 9/2025 (the Spanish Sustainable Mobility Act), Orden FOM/2861/2012 (the Spanish order governing the control document), Resolución de 5-jun-2026 (its technical requirements), GDPR and eIDAS. The document is held in custody for the full year the law requires.

Roadside mode

When the officer walks over,
all you have to do is show it.

Brightness at maximum, giant QR code, zero interaction. The PDF is served over an obfuscated URL with no passwords and no CAPTCHAs, exactly as the law requires.

DeCMR Roadside mode: the document's QR code full screen
<1 s on screen 0 loading screens 100% automatic brightness UUIDv4 impossible to guess

Engineering for trust

Built as if you were going to be audited.
Because you are going to be audited.

ENCRYPTION

Our own key (KMS)

Encryption at rest with a key we manage ourselves, auditable and with cryptographic erasure.

SIGNATURE

eIDAS · AdES

Advanced electronic signature over the data itself, with the private key on the signer's own device. And a timestamp embedded in every signed document: the time is proven, not declared.

PRIVACY

No tracking · GDPR

No GPS tracking, no cookies, no advertising. The place of a signature is only attached if the signer switches it on. Data minimisation and retention bounded by law.

AVAILABILITY

Serverless, EU

Serverless infrastructure inside the European Union, scalable and with no single points of failure.

Pricing

Less than a fine.
A great deal less.

A single minimum penalty pays for years of DeCMR. The driver's app is free, always.
